Started working on trying to free roll something on Carbon. Your allowed 10 step-1 SnG tickets per day. I placed top 3 in 7 of the 10 for (7) step2 tickets.
(expiration 1 week) I will play more step 1 tomorrow to get at least 10 step 2 B4 trying for the step 3's. I feel like a good bank of each step is the best way to manage step tournaments to break through to the next level. (Wow !!! BR management in step tournaments ??)

As noted above you can freeroll a start on merge sites like carbon with the steps SnG's. But the new deposit freerolls are the way to go if you can do it. After I got a couple dollars in steps, just to see if I could, I went ahead and moved some money to carbon, and 2 weeks later to another merge site also for the 2 weeks of new deposit freerolls. In the 4 weeks of freerolls I won $160. The play through requirements to make the winnings available for withdraw if you want, are very easy and seem to be 1 to 1 putting the money at risk. I was able to clear all the money a few days after the last freeroll and actually gained more while using the won money.

Depending on the stakes you play and how often you play. 35% can be very good.
